JEMA 2021: CANCELLED but LE MANS miniatures postpones

We have been confirmed on last Friday that JEMA 2021 only maintained the digital version of the event for this 2021 edition due to the new rules of lock down. Unfortunately, we are not able to organize virtual meetings with enough contents in such a short period. All the more we are not really familiar with the requested techniques. We will make sure that we improve in the future.

LE MANS miniatures is therefore obliged to cancel its participation in JEMA 2021 April version and the physical visits of its workshop on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 April 2021. The new health regulations and the 10km radius prevent us from organizing the event properly.

But because

• many of you have already booked your visit (more than half of the available places have already been reserved)
• we have already been asked for some time by the pre-organization
• and these meetings are also very important to us

And to give us the maximum chance that the event will take place we still think about the different possibilities and must wait again for the health situation to improve to decide definitively.

Several tracks are already open to us:

• Either during the summer, LE MANS Classic is cancelled, this could be a possibility or instead of the Spielwarenmesse, also cancelled

• or in October: we are waiting to know if the Lohéac auto-sale will take place

We will keep you informed of the selected dates and contact each visitor who had reserved the visit in April.

Last minute information: we have just received an email from the JEMA this afternoon, mentioning “the organization by the Mission “Pays de la Loire – Métiers d'Art”, in collaboration with the referents partners of the departmental chambers of crafts, an event dedicated to crafts that could be held during the 4th quarter of 2021, after mid-October. This event would be a workshop open house and would benefit from regional communication.”
