Joseph Siffert is a very famous Swiss driver, recognized for his professional and human qualities. Despite numerous participations in LeMans 24 Hours he never manages to win. He wins however beautiful victories in Formula 1 and his prize list in endurance is rather enviable. He was the dreaded and formidable opponent and team mate of Pedro Rodriguez. He survives the latter only a few months as he suffocated in his racing car in Brand Hatch in October, 1971.


This miniature represents him sitting on the wheel of a Lotus, the cross of the Swiss flag which decorates his helmet is used and he wears around the neck two glasses of race.

John Wyer is a very successful team manager at the end of the 60's. He created J.W Automotive to lead Ford to the victory from 1966 to 1969 in Le Mans 24 Hours. His name is also associated with the developpment of the Porsche 917 and then with the Mirage GR8 that wins Le Mans in 1975 such as with orange and blue colours of the Gulf Team.

Pedro Rodriguez

Pedro Rodriguez is a Mexican driver who from 1958 until his death in July, 1971 participated in all the LeMans 24 Hours events. Whether it is for Ferrari, Porsche or Ford with whom he wins his first and only victory in Le Mans in 1968 with the Ford GT40, his talent is indisputable. He pursued for a long time at the same time pilot's career of Formula 1 and endurance. He dies a few months before his rival and team-mate Jo Siffert on the circuit of Nüremberg. 


When he was not helmeted to race, we recognized him by the cap in tartan of Sherlock Holmes. We found relevant to represent him with this strange hat and his helmet in the hands as we were used to see him in the paddocks.
