Unusual encounters in LeMans town-center - " The Art at the heart of the Senses "

During the LeMans 24 Hours week, the OsmOsons association organizes a big meeting around arts in the city center.

Including numerous artists and professionals from the Sarthe in artistic domains so varied as the painting, the sculpture, the music, the design, or the art of cooking, this first edition of meetings and artistic exchanges reveals a rich program for the whole week.

Fashion show, singing lesson, creation of a collective artwork, demonstrations, painting, sculpture, cooking will punctuate this week which aims to be rich in exchanges between the artists, the local schools, the public and the partners of the events. Let us dare to create an osmosis around all these exchanges and of these moments of sharing and of user-friendliness, essential to the cohesion of our communities. It is maybe a drop in the ocean, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The opening of the exhibition on Tuesday evening (by invitation only) will be the opportunity of an auction of artworks created specially for and on the occasion of these meetings for the benefit of the "Restos du Coeur".

Some painted figurines, 200mm high, representing the legendary "LeMans race start" were confided to artists who revisited them, transformed to create original and unique artworks which will be put on sale on this occasion.

During week, Benoît Moro will also come to present his work through practical examples in process of development. Between artistic and technical job, he will show and will explain how create a miniature by allying the modern and manual techniques of his job passion.
