Matra, the comeback

LE MANS miniatures comes back on the saga of Matra in LeMans.

Matra MS630 #32 of LeMans 24 Hours 1969 is announced as a completely new model in the slot cars collection. No other manufacturer has still developed this model in this scale. Less famous than the version of 1968, the 1969 version comes to fill a space and allows to appreciate the improvements brought between 2 years.

We use on this version the chassis in injected ABS developed for Alpine A220. It showed its reliable performance. No concession is given on the shapes, exceptionally curved of this car, modelled in his time entirely by hand.

This is the opportunity to propose in "evolution" version Matra MS630 #24 of LeMans 24 Hours 1968. This model was proposed from February, 2004 by LMM.It was the third reference of the range. Available as kit, pre-painted kit, a series of built models was made too. Sold out since September, 2007, a new production as high as the new requirements of the market was interesting. Benoît modified the inside body shell to adapt the same ABS injected chassis like for Matra car #32. Numerous details have been added in comparison with 2004 model kit thanks new published pictures of the real car.

The color is common to the 2 versions. It is an Orly Blue ref. 917 made by Nitrolac, that was used from 1968 on all racing cars until 1974.
