The Ferrari 250 GTO is the epitome of Ferraris model and 250 GTO is the most famous sports cars of the world due to its aestheticism. It has been designed from Bizarrini and Scaglietti's drawing. "250" corresponds the volume of each cylinder of the engine and "GTO" means "Gran Tourisimo Omologato". Only 36 GTO have been manufactured between 1962 and 1964.

A French team entered this Ferrari in Le Mans 1962 and it ends second behind the factory Ferrari 330 car of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill.
