Since 1993, Dr Wolfgang Ullrich is at the head of Audi Sport. He is at the origin of the strong commitment of Audi in LeMans 24 Hours from 1997 and the first podiums in 1999. He launches the program of the Audi R8, then R10 TDI; the first diesel car to take part and win LeMans. Under his guidance, Audi wins 13 victories in Le Mans on 15 participations.
