Racing driver was born on April 20th, 1927 in Miami in Florida, Phil Hill is the only driver born in the United States to win LeMans 24 Hours du Mans and to have been a world champion of F1.
His driver career begins in 1949. Between 1953 and 1967, he participates 12 times in LeMans 24 Hours, which he wins in 1958, 1961 and 1962. With Ferrari, in 1961 he accumulates a title of Formula 1 World Champion.
He retires after his victory to Brand Hatch on July 31st, 1967. He begins then sports correspondent's career and dies in 2008 of the consequences of the Parkinson's disease.
Sportsman was carried out, he was a small and muscular man.The proposed figurine shows him looking at his watch with his special bowl helmet under the arm.
