After the incredible ride of Pescarolo the year before, the new Matra 630 engaged in LeMans 1969 was modified in its forms and details to be conformed to the new regulation. While the battle between Ford and Porsche rages, Matra car number 32 ends 5th behind Matra 650 of Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Piers Courage.
