Matra 620 on the program

As the 2026 "week" of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is in full swing, here is what awaits us in the coming weeks.

The program is based on the Matra 620 of the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, which we developed simultaneously at 1/18th and 1/32nd. It took us more than 2 years for this project, more complex than it seems. A trip to Sologne is highly recommended to see one of the surviving cars at the Romorantin Museum – an automobile space that served as the basis for our work. You may have the chance to run into Roland Roy, a former Matracian to guide you during your visit. The museum is his second home; he is a funny living bible on the history of Matra. We love him ! (Reference of his book available in "documentation" section)

The Matra 620 production at scale 1:32 should end in a few days for availability by the beginning of July. As for production in 1/18th, it is in progress but the models will only be available later due to sea shipping from the factory for this kind of item.

For the two scales, the three car numbers were reproduced. Special attention has been paid to ensure that the drivers are recognizable. Once again, the game of differences is to play on these three versions.

Furthermore, our exclusive new collection of 1:18th scale of mini models is expanding with a second reference. Currently being finished, the Ferrari 275P driven by Tessa with her teddy bear should be available in early July as well. Little Tessa, a name given by us, must be tall now. We had met her at Le Mans Classic in 2012 when this project was considered...
