Summer time !

We have communicated a lot in recent times about the progress of the Chenard & Walcker 24 Hours of Le Mans project of 1923 due to the festivities related to the Le Mans 24 Hours Centenary. The development of all the elements still requires a lot of work but it was important for us to be in the race!

However, the Bugatti T57 S45 now occupies the production line. First at 1/18th, production ends and will soon leave the factory to be available in August. For more details, the descriptive sheet of the two manufactured numbers is now available on the website.

Then at 1/32nd, this same model will take over on the assembly line. We are still waiting for the driver of the no. 14. It will be as in the 1/18th of the figurine of Jean Bugatti, the car not having participated in the race.

At the same time, the Mirage M1 participating 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1967 has been re-manufactured. Contrary to what we originally envisioned, we chose to launch a new tooling for the chassis to be injected in ABS and thus maintain the level of performance that the first production of 2012 had with the complete chassis branded Slot.it supplied at the time.

In the range of resin hand painted figurines in scale 1/18th the presentation at the time of the 24 hours of Le Mans of the progress of our project «LeMans 1966» also takes shape. In July the figurine of Mr. Ken will be added to that of Joseph, the newspaper seller, already available. Then, by the end of the year, Mr. Carroll’s show with and without a hat will follow.

Finally, here is the LMtv Sarthe report broadcast during the week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans for those who would have missed it.
