Alpine Renault A220 n°29

For the armada Alpine-Renault which arrives at LeMans 24 Hours in September, 1968, the impression is fantastic. Not less than 11 cars are entered, among which 9 are under the only responsibility of the factory. Jean Rédélé gives that year Bob Wollek a start with LeMans. 

After the beginning of race nevertheless satisfactory, Alpine A220 of Guichet-Jabouille knows the same difficulties as their colleagues and it is finally the alternator which breaks in the early hours of the morning.
