Kit cast in polyurethan resin, in scale 1:24, in high detailed version, of the Dauer #35 that participates LeMans 24 Hours in 1994. The body is in several parts to better appreciate the details of the engine. All the suspensions are made of white metal. Two sets of photoetching come to complete this kit which addresses rather experienced model makers.
Jochen Dauer, Norbert Singer and Reinhold Joest are the brains of this project which bases on the optimal exploitation of the A.C.O regulations. Already in 1994, Toyota tried to make a way among the cars manufacturers in endurance racing. In LeMans they are threatened by Dauer from the first laps. Moreover, at the end of the first hour racing, Dauer #35 clocks in head. Despite some running straight, some problems of tires and suspension, after 9 hours of racing, only 10 seconds separate it from the Toyota at lead. Early in the morning Thierry Boutsen establishes the best lap record in 3 ' 52 " 54 ' '. He loses 3 laps on Dauer car #36 and Toyota car #1 of Irvine who seems to go to the victory. Nevertheless 2 hours before finishiong line, Toyota passes in 3rd place for the benefit of Dauer. But in the last but one lap Irvine passes the Shell and steals the 2nd place.
