The Aston Martin DBR1 is a legendary model of the English brand. It is to date the only victory of the brand at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori’s #5 crossed the finish line, followed closely by #6 of French drivers Maurice Trintignant and Paul Frère. Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman’s #4 dropped out after only 70 laps.
