Bugatti T32 n°11 GP ACF Tours 1923

For the 1923 Tours Speed GP, which takes place just one month after the first 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ettore Bugatti designed a brand new car very early in the racegardiste, the T32 quickly dubbed the tank like Gabriel Voisin whose model was called the dragonfly.

Its body is fully enveloping for better penetration into the air which makes it difficult to drive.

Out of the 18 cars entered, Bugatti has 4. They are entrusted to more or less experienced drivers. The number 11 is driven by Baron Pedro de Vizcayal who sets the best time of the Bugatti at the tests but does not even finish the first lap and abandons on accident in La Membrolle.
