This last M379C entered in 1981 is in the livery of the Océanic brand, already associated with Rondeau in 1979-80 in duet with «Figaro Magazine». Henri Pescarolo, «disassociated» of Jean Ragnotti for this time probably for reasons of size, is associated with Patrick Tambay, newcomer in the team. The teammates gave up after 41 laps.
