Alfred Neubauer was born on March 29th, 1891 in Austria-Hungary.
He manages the Mercedes-Benz racing team from 1926 till 1955. Authoritarian and almighty character, in the impressive corpulence, Alfred Neubauer confers to the team Mercedes a quasi-military rigor in which no detail is left at random.
It allows Mercedes to dominate the sport racing car between two World Wars. This dominion peaks in 1954 and 1955 during which Mercedes leads in Formula 1.
