Decals set for Ford GT40 n°10, 11 or 12

Ford comes to LeMans in 1964 in order to collect information and experience and to add a little worry to Ferrari who was the favorite of the race. The success of their purpose is limited.

Although Ford #11 leads a short time the race in front of Ferrari 330P #19, it stops 5 laps later than the Ford car number 12. Ford MKII number 10 finally ends after 13 hours racing when the gearbox fails. Earlier in the morning Phil Hill beats the lap record of the previous year.
