Decals set for Porsche 917K n°23

1970, Porsche's twentieth participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans - a race they had never won. After LeMans 1969, Porsche got in touch with John Wyer, well known for his successes with the Fort GT40's. Porsche Konstruktionen from Salzburg entered two 917's, one short tail (#23) and one long tail (#25). The duel between Porsche and Ferrari is expected: 11 Ferrari were entered in front of 7 Porsche 917. And it is Porsche who gets out of as big winner because the combined teams accumulate all the titles : general classification with Porsche car #23, victories of categories such as pole position and lap record !
