Kit in scale 1:24 of the Chenard & Walcker which participated in the first 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1923 when the race was called the Endurance Prize of the Sarthe circuit. In apocalyptic weather conditions, car #9 wins and car #10 finishes 2nd.
The kit consists of parts in different materials. The body is cast in polyurethane resin. The wings are stamped metal. The wheels are made of turned metal parts and photoetching parts. The tires are cast in soft resin. Other details in photoetching are to be added. Some parts are printed in resin. The decal set is used to assemble either car #9 or #10. A figurine of a driver with 2 heads is included for those who will assemble the 2 different car numbers.
This kit is not for a novice builder. A color building instruction manual composed of drawings and color photos to help you in your choice of colors completes the kit.
