Jacky Ickx is certainly the name of the most famous Belgian racing driver whose career begins in the 1960s. He wins 8 F1 Grand Prix. He was a holder of the record of victories in LeMans 24 Hours until 2004 when Tom Kristensen equals his record of 6 victories.


He is represented here to be leaned in the Ford GT 40 #6 in which he won his first victory in Le Mans. The team was managed by John Wyer and Jacky Ickx won with only some 20 meters beforehand about the 2nd car. He started last because he had decided not to run to his car as it was the use butwhat he considered dangerous.
