Reproduction in scale 1:32 of the Ferrari 250 TR58 that won the 1958 24 Hours of Le Mans. Eleven Ferraris are lined up at the start, three of which are entered by the Scuderia Ferrari.
The number 14 is only distinguished from the car number 12 by its left-hand drive, the other details of the body are identical. The chassis of this vehicle finished 3rd at the Targa Florio and 5th at the 1000 kms of Nürburgring.
This 26th edition of the 24 Hours is largely disturbed by a diluvian weather and follows accidents. The US-Belgian team Phill Hiill and Olivier Gendebien took the lead from the 3rd hour of race and kept it until the finish. After 4 participations, it is finally the consecration for Oliver Gendebien. This victory, which puts an end to the three consecutive victories of Jaguar, ensures Ferrari a first new title of World Champion before the last round of the Championship.
